While Heather dedicated herself to teaching, she also recognized the profound importance of being a perpetual student of yoga.

Over the past 25 years, Heather has made an annual pilgrimage back to India, embarking on 23 extensive trips to delve into the depths of knowledge and practice under the watchful guidance of esteemed teachers. She has honed her expertise through transformative encounters with legendary figures such as Pattabhi Jois, Shri BNS Iyengar, and the late Swami Veda-Bharati, forging a deep connection to the Himalayan Yoga tradition.

Today, Heather Morton stands as a beacon of inspiration in the realm of wellness, holding multiple teaching certificates in Hatha-yoga, Prānāyāma, and Vedic Astrology. With a Masters of Education focused on yoga, she has solidified her authority as a leading figure in the field.

Heather’s passion for sharing her profound wisdom extends far beyond geographical boundaries. She offers her teachings on an international scale, conducting enlightening retreats at the prestigious Shreyas Retreat in India. Her innate love for travel has also allowed her to glean insights from diverse cultures, having lived in Northern Africa and Europe.
